INTERNATIONAL TOURISM In year-to-date (YTD) September 2025, the total number of nights spent by international visitors increased by 7.6% . While the top five source markets by visitor arrivals were New Zealand, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and India , the top three markets by total visitor nights were China, India, and the United Kingdom, reflecting longer average lengths of stay among these travellers. Thailand recorded the strongest growth in total visitor nights , increasing by 24.8% year-on-year, despite trip volumes remaining broadly unchanged from the prior year. This was followed by the United Kingdom (+22.9%) and Japan (+22.9%), highlighting strong recovery momentum among select international source markets.
