Regional hotel transactions across Australia have trended upward in recent years, particularly following the pandemic, driven by a surge in domestic and regional tourism during periods of international border closures. Despite moderation in regional transaction activity in 2025, the higher yields on offer in markets such as regional and suburban Queensland continued to attract investor interests.
